The ministry of Full Gospel Evangelism

Since David McKivett’s salvation back in 1974 (read David McKivett’s testimony), God has put in his heart a strong desire to preach the gospel in its fullness.  Many of the churches he attended as a young Christian were more interested in getting people emotionally stirred than they were in actually feeding them with the pure word of God.

David realised also that many of the churches that organised outreaches that were actually more interested in reaching other Christians.  Many of the evangelism programmes at the time were a fast, with more effort being made to attract other churches than lost souls.

In 1975 David McKivett began preaching in various churches, and in 1975 he held is first campaign in North London, after several meetings the ministry of Full Gospel Evangelism was formed. The name was chosen when David McKivett attended a meeting run by Dr Albert Chamber of World Vision for Christ. (See www.wvfc.co.uk), He heard Dr Chambers refer to himself as a full gospel preacher preaching the full gospel message.  The word ‘full gospel’ stuck in David’s mind, and because he was interesting in Evangelism the name FULL GOSPEL EVANGELISM, was chosen as the name of the ministry.

Since the ministry was founded David McKivett has conducted outreaches all over Great Britain and Northern Ireland, he has preached in many parts of the West Indies such as Barbados, St Lucia, Martinique, Grenada and St Vincent. He as also held meetings in Germany, Italy and Nigeria.
